Senior DevOps Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure while driving automation across the software development lifecycle.

You will work closely with development teams to build and optimize CI/CD pipelines, implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC), manage containerized applications, and ensure system reliability, security, and performance. The ideal candidate has strong expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), Kubernetes, Docker, automation tools, monitoring solutions, and DevOps best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated software delivery.
• Build and manage cloud infrastructure using AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Deploy and manage containerized applications using Kubernetes and Docker.
• Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
• Monitor infrastructure, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability and performance.
• Implement DevSecOps practices, security controls, and compliance standards.
• Automate operational tasks through scripting and process improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize application delivery and infrastructure.
• Mentor team members and drive continuous improvement in DevOps practices.

Required Skills

• Strong experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps.
• Hands-on expertise with Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Ansible, Git, and scripting (Python/Bash/PowerShell).
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Datadog, or Splunk.
• Solid understanding of cloud services, networking, security, and infrastructure automation.
• Knowledge of DevSecOps practices, security tools, and compliance frameworks is an added advantage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator, Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), or HashiCorp Certified Terraform Associate are preferred.
